DIY: THE BUBBLE MASK

Happy🦇Halloween🎃 lovelies.  Did we scare you? This isn’t our costume, just us doing a little self-care. Boooo 👻

This is also a PSA about trying an at home Bubble Mask. Have you tried one yet? We are obsessed!  How could we not try it after seeing all of the photos on social media - hilarious!

Most of the ingredients that you would need to create a DIY bubble mask are readily available in your own kitchen and the ones that are not can be bought at any grocery store:
- 2 Tsps Bentonite Clay
- 1/2 Tsp Matcha Powder
- 1/4 Tsp Charcoal
- 1 Tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 Tsp Citric Acid
- 1/2 Tsp Glycerin
- 2 Tsps Water
- A bowl and some spoons to mix and measure

To get started, in bowl, mix all dry ingredients one at a time. Once mixed thoroughly, add in glycerin, followed by water. You might need more than 2 tsps of water. Once all ingredients are mixed, the mask will be black in color and bubbles will start to appear.

Get excited, now you are ready to get bubbling! To use mask, make sure your face is clean and all makeup has been removed. Scoop a little amount of the mask from the bowl and apply to face. Avoid eye area and nose, as mask will start expanding once bubbles are formed. Your face might feel a little tingly/itchy after application but bear with it, this is simply the result of the bubbles activating.

The best part about this DIY bubble mask, is how quick it works, you only need to keep it on your face for about 5 min. Before washing off mask, gently rub the bubbles down on the skin. This action will ensure a deeper exfoliation leaving the skin cleaner and softer. Wash off with water and the mask will lather up. Pat face dry. Stare at self adoringly in mirror, j/k!

Now let's break down what just happened and why it was so amazing. Each and every individual element in the bubble mask benefits the skin in different ways.
- This mask is good for exfoliation of the skin.
- Bubble mask is great for getting the skin rid of any surface oiliness.
- At the end of the 5-minute routine, the face looks clean and clear.
- Rehydrates the skin and makes it soft and supple.
- Glycerin in mask acts like a natural moisturizer.
